Choose the pack that matches your paper, then print at 100% or Actual size. Each 12 × 12 grid uses 18-point letters; the word list is 16-point. Words run across, down or diagonally down-right. There is no timer.

To print only puzzles, choose pages 1, 3 and 5. For answers, choose 2, 4 and 6. Print single-sided if you want to keep the answers separate. Check one printed page before making copies.

An easy autumn activity for a group

Put the three themes on a table and let each person choose. Offer pencils, good lighting and space to work. Someone may enjoy finding just a few words; another may prefer to solve together. Both are welcome.

For an optional conversation afterwards, ask which autumn colour they would put in a painting, what they enjoy reading on a rainy day, or which harvest food brings back a memory. Skip any prompt that does not suit your group.
